Bagnell Dam Strip, Lake Ozark
It all started here back in the 1930's. The "Strip", as locals call it, is a favorite hot spots for the teenagers. Recently, local businesses on the "Strip" as well as city government have started a beautification project as well. Sidewalks and lighting have been added as well as some landscape. You will find it all on the strip. If shopping is your game, you will find many Ozark specialties and hand crafted items. The "Strip" hosts the two largest arcades and you will find .10 skeeball as well. The upper part of the "Strip" has six (6) batting cages with fast, medium and slow pitch machines. There is also "Two Bit Town", where you will find bumper boats, mini-golf and shops. Look for the big 50' Indian and you will find the Haunted House and Shooting Gallery, you will get an old town feeling. As you venture to the lower part of the "Strip" you will find a host of T-shirt shops and Old Time Photo's. Several historic bars, tatto's and Ozark relics as well. Try the Rocket Launch and ski rocket 500' into the air or enjoy some old time bumper cars, skee ball and arcades. Finally, take a mile long Sky Ride tram into the Ozark hills, it is great date. Don't forget to take some ice cream from Godot's Ice Cream Shop. Take a tour of the lake via a cruise on the Tom Sawyer or Larry Don. Cruises depart every other hour.
